Terms & Conditions

Order Confirmation

When ordering agreement for the purchase is valid only when Finnish Equestrian Company (later on: the company) has confirmed the order through an order confirmation. An order confirmation will be sent within 24 hours after the order is received by the company. If delivery is changed in the order, the customer will be notified as soon as possible. You always have the right to cancel the purchase at no cost until the goods are sent. The company has ownership and withdrawal rights to all products until full payment has been received from the customer. To shop with us you must be 18 years old and the company must be able to determine the customer’s home address.



All prices are in European Euros and include Finnish VAT (24 %). We have no minimum order limit – you can choose as many products you want. We reserve the right to make price adjustments, changes in stocks and obvious typographical errors. We can’t be held responsible for circumstances where we have no control. For example, we unfortunately can’t take responsibility of the swiftness of delivery logistics. Finnish Postal Service Posti, Schenker, FedEx, UPS, DHL, Postnord and Posten are used for the transport of mail and parcels and we follow the Finnish law. If you are under 18 years old it requires the consent of a parent or guardian to make a purchase at our webshop. In cases where invoices are not paid before the due date, will be charged interest at base rate + 8.0 % added with a note fee of 15 €. The last measure is debt collection. By ordering in our online store, you agree to the terms.

Customs and import VAT and any other expenses that can occur and are associated with delivery outside of Finland are the responsibility of the customer to pay.


Payment options/terms

The company uses PayPal as payment method for all the orders. Customers need to be registered at PayPal. More information on PayPal’s website here.



Orders made before 12:00 on non-holiday weekday (Mon–Fri) processed the same day and are normally delivered within 1-4 days within Finland.
International orders may be delivered within 3–10 days.
“Days” in this sense is referred to Monday-Friday.

We reserve all stock items to may be sold out before we can update the site. In this case, we will contact the customer with more information and new estimated delivery. The customer has the right to cancel the purchase at no cost if the item is not in stock. The packages are delivered by mail or another carrier to delivery.


Delivery delays

Sometimes arise delivery delays by our suppliers beyond our control. This may occur, for example when a supplier can’t meet its delivery obligations to us or problems in the manufacturing process or the letter/parcel carrier has logistical problems. If this occurs, we disclaim liability to the customer for the damage that the delay is accomplished. You can trust that we will always notify you of the delivery is delayed. You as a customer the right to cancel the purchase at no cost at the delivery delay.



The company is responsible for transportation to our customers. You and transportation company assumes the risk of returning to us and we will not be responsible for items lost in transit during return.


Damaged goods

When you receive your goods, it is important that you check your order immediately. If you have received a faulty or damaged goods, please contact us as soon as possible and no later than 7 days of delivery by e-mail sales@finnishequestrian.com


Right of withdrawal and purchase

Private customers have the right to cancel their purchase for 14 days. This means that the customer has the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days after you have received the goods. The returned products must be unused and packed neatly in their original packaging – labels attached. When exercising the right of withdrawal / return of goods or replacing a product with another, we ask the customers first to contact us at sales@finnishequestrian for further instructions.

When sending a product back to us for replacement / return the customer is responsible of the according dispatching costs. It is of utmost importance that the product is not used and that all the patches and labels are attached. Everything originally included in the packaging should be included in the shipment of goods. This includes also plastic wrapping that protects the products.



Repayment is via Paypal. The total return is always paid to the same account used to purchase and as soon as possible after we have received and accepted the return. If the return is not accepted (due to faults in meeting the terms and conditions of the vendibility of the goods) we will contact the customer to obtain agreement on how to proceed.

Please notice that personalized products are not eligible for returns or changes.



We reserve the right for changes in prices caused by large price deviations from our suppliers, exchange rates, political effects and typos or other errors that are beyond our control. Learn more about unforeseen events during the Force Majeure below.


Protection of personal data

In connection with the registration and ordering you agree that we store and use your data in our operations solely in order to complete and provide the service that you expect from us. According to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) you have the right to get the information we have stored on you and if you think it is incorrect or irrelevant, you can request correction or removal from our customer database. If so, contact our customer service (preferably by e-mail sales@finnishequestrian.com). We also declare that we will not sell or transfer any personal data (see our Privacy Policy).


Not collected packages

If your package arrives at a distribution point is sent a notification via email or SMS to you. You as the customer are responsible for the mobile phone number, the address and the email address you entered is correct. If you do not pick up your package so you will be charged an administrative fee of 20 € for the trouble.


Force Majeure

In the event of war, natural disasters, strikes, government decisions and similar events beyond our control which is not reasonably foreseeable, and affects the contractual agreements and commitments on our part, which means that we can’t keep that agreement / pledge, shall constitute the basis that we are released from our obligations to fulfil that contract.
